Digital Marketing Director
Wickland Westcott was retained by a recognised international B2B2C manufacturing Group, supplying branded solutions to a European customer base through a complex multi-channel network. The company, which was focused on growth and transformation, was seeking a Digital Marketing Director to lead the development and implementation of a co-ordinated digital strategy. The role could be based at one of several locations in the UK, Belgium, France, Italy and/or Germany.
The job brief involved leveraging best practice across multiple country-led organisations whilst driving digital capability consistently across the Group, delivering the content, tools and technology necessary to attract increased numbers of direct and indirect customers. This required candidates with a track record of digital transformation gained in an international digitally-progressive environment married with the ability to build cohesion and drive change centrally and locally via a wide range of stakeholders.
The search focused on the identification of digital leaders working for marquee organisations across multiple sectors throughout Europe, leading to the appointment of an internationally-experienced candidate with a first-class pedigree gained with global telecoms, broadband and television broadcasting Groups. The appointed candidate has track record of local and global digital strategy implementation in complex environments and combines broad digital expertise with a particularly strong commercial orientation.
