Tony has over 20 years’ experience as a recruiter with significant experience in finding senior management roles including MD and head of function level in a number of sectors including; Pharmaceutical, Media & Publishing, Education, Property and Technology.

At Wickland Westcott Tony utilizes his considerable experience to work across the interim and contract markets, with some forays into retained search, when required. Tony believes in providing a high-quality service to both our clients and candidates, by ensuring that we meet the key-stakeholders to understand their challenge and by making sure that candidates are fully vetted and profiled in person, allowing him to provide the client with the most suitable individual.

He is a keen, though mediocre, runner and is the treasurer of a local running club in West Sussex; also living by a river means he also likes to dabble in boating and kayaking. Other interests mainly revolve around family and the local community.

Mark is a Leadership Consultant with a range of experience across recruitment, development, team effectiveness and global talent programmes. He has worked with a wide range of businesses from sectors including financial services, pharmaceutical and retail. Mark is passionate about understanding the experiences each individual has been through, and how that contributes to the leader they are today. He enjoys working with leadership teams to explore their challenges and the dynamics in play, then building trust and understanding so that they can work more effectively together towards a common goal.

Prior to joining Wickland Westcott, Mark gained experience in team development, using profiling tools to help teams maximise diverse strengths and align with strategy. Before that, he spent eight years in IBM Smarter Workforce (previously Kenexa), partnering with clients to implement solutions across the employee lifecycle. During this time, he specialised in leadership assessment and development, and best practice recruitment.

Mark has a degree in Modern History and is accredited in a number of leadership psychometrics. He enjoys weekend walks and pub lunches with the dog in tow, as well as football, tennis, golf and snowboarding.

Darren gained 15 years PE experience primarily as CFO, before moving into consultancy to further his passion for leadership development and coaching. He has operated internationally in large and mid-sized organisations within the building products, construction and asset rental sectors, leading major transformation projects and managing operational and commercial teams. He is a chartered management accountant (FCMA) who has headed-up progressive change programmes of scale, including mergers and acquisitions, business-wide IT implementations, supply chain restructuring and the outsourcing of transactional services.

Darren’s main focus is supporting businesses to identify, select and develop the right leadership talent. He mentors senior leaders, helping them to deliver commercial value against a backdrop of competing priorities within volatile environments. He is a member of the Wickland Westcott management team, responsible for growing and developing the executive search business, working closely with clients across a range of sectors including retail, media, manufacturing, engineering, financial services and private equity.
