Laura Oliver
Laura is a Talent Consultant specialising in assessment and development centres. She has extensive knowledge and experience of designing and delivering a range of tailored selection and development solutions for clients. She has a particular interest in the impact of values/competencies on organisational and individual performance.
Prior to joining Wickland Westcott she gained commercial experience working within banking, insurance and for a large outsourcing organisation, and has a track record of building strong client relationships across a range of business sectors. Laura’s experience also includes working for Manchester Airports Group where she designed several bespoke assessment centres, development centres, 360 Degree Feedback programmes and completed several projects embedding the airport’s values and competencies within the recruitment process.
Laura has a Joint Honours degree in Psychology and Management and a Masters (with Distinction) in Occupational Psychology. She holds Level A and B certificates in psychometric testing

Wickland Westcott Consultant Laura Oliver has been working in partnership with Manchester Airports Group (MAG) to research the link between employees’ personal values and their level of engagement. Employees were asked to rate the extent to which they agreed or disagreed with statements linked with Manchester Airports’ six Corporate Values. These included ‘Customer Experience’, ‘Innovation’ and ‘Working with Colleagues’.
