John is a Search Consultant based in Wickland Westcott's London office. He has extensive experience supporting business change, turnaround and growth agendas recruiting at non–executive, board and senior management level. He works across HR and all the key functions in a variety of sectors including consumer/service, food and agriculture, retail, retail finance, consultancy and not-for-profit. He is equally comfortable working with major multinationals, smaller organisations and private equity houses both in the UK and overseas.
Before joining Wickland Westcott John enjoyed a varied career, initially in retail store operations, resourcing and buying before becoming HR and Operations Director of an international niche fashion business. After a period in global HR management consultancy working in the strategy and reward teams, and a stint at London Business School, he spent four years in the media as a Sales Director. He then moved into executive search with two well-known firms prior to joining Wickland Westcott. He holds BPS level A and B certificates in occupational testing.
